Teacher Story: Why I Love Teaching 1-on-1
The unique experience of 1-on-1
When I first started teaching online, I thought larger classes would be more exciting. But soon I realized that 1-on-1 lessons were truly special. They allow me to connect deeply with each learner, understanding their personality and needs.
Supporting personal goals
Every learner at Englishehe has different goals: some want to communicate better at work, others prepare for exams, and some simply wish to feel confident while traveling. With 1-on-1, I can adapt methods and pace to match each learner’s goals and abilities. This creates a difference that larger classes cannot offer.
Joy from clear progress
In 1-on-1 lessons, I clearly see learners change session by session. From being hesitant, they start speaking more; from fearing mistakes, they become confident to share their thoughts. These moments make my work feel truly meaningful.
Connection as a companion
Beyond teacher and student, in many 1-on-1 classes I become a companion. I listen to their stories, and they share with me their joys and struggles. This makes lessons warm, comfortable, and full of emotion.
My message
For me, teaching 1-on-1 is not just about delivering knowledge—it’s about walking with learners through their transformation. I love this format because it brings real connection, fast progress, and joy in my daily work.
